Porkypie
Is it common for hybrids to go broody? What are the early signs?
bellekatz
One of my hybrids goes broody at the drop of a hat - she must think she's a pure breed! Signs, sitting on the next box all day long, sometimes growling at everyone and everything and plucking feathers to line the nest

JB09
Last summer one of my hybrids was constantly broody! She was a bit flightly before taking to the nest and walking around with her feathers raised. She was unceremoniously taken from the nest box and plonked on the lawn more than once - she was persistant though, I'll give her that!
