I should have had my run built about two weeks ago, but the guy got caught up in another job, I was gutted Plum will vouch for that, I have since decided that I wanted the ground slabbed trees cut, shed moved rubbished cleared and lawn re turfed as girls had decimated it, well  and I actually wont believe this until it happens but the guys are coming on Thursday to start and should finish Friday afternoon and run is apparently being built and will be delivered and assembled on Friday, cant cope with the excitement, will be able to cope even less if they let me down

Fingers crossed everyone that this is the big weekend

Well I jinxed it, despite my OH and 2DS being out in snow for two hours moving the run and cube, he has just called to say as the weather is so bad he cant lay turf, I told him I dont care about the turf I want the slabs and battons laid for the run, after threatening to cry and tell all my friends on omlet he has now relented and said he will get the men here tomorrow afternoon - if the bags of sand are not sodden or frozen and make a start. My OH had a good laugh because after 26 years together he knows crying is not my thing.

Fingers crossed again :x

Are they there yet.............?

I know how frustrating waiting for men's attentions to WIRs can be..I've been waiting for months for the roof to be made watertight on my run.............maybe getting some quotes for tarpaulins might galvanise the darling boys into action :anxious:

If it wasn't chucking it down yet again I'd have been out there fiddling with the props department from Steptoes Yard that is my chicken area

Note here yet, trying to stay positive as it is not snowing, but because of yesterdays snow the job they should have finished yesterday was postponed until this morning and he said they would come to be after that, I am off to phone the guy who is building the run to see how he is getting on

I have taken the fence down because they were coming so now all the girls are looking in the patio window, I hope they like Murder she wrote because that and a cup of tea are what is about to happen

So would we in Sussex...........at least then we wouldn't have to take oars whenever we go out in the car......the roads round here are flooded right across in places, the water's just running off the fields  And I have a huge puddle across the doorway to my WIR...the girls are not impressed!!!

I hope you get things sorted soon
