New hens not going into Eglu Go Up

Yep you read right

 

My mum went to see a house in Wales on Monday (She left at 8am and didn't get back till 11:30pm)

 

Well my mum said it is a small group of 6 houses and it is surrounded by fields (Dairy farm behind the house and a Rabbit farm up the road)

 

She said the woman wants to move because it's way to quiet for her,She knows our area and is quite happy to do the swap.

 

 

My mum did get a bit excited on the train though as she saw loads of chickens in peoples back gardens on the way there see even saw a couple of cockerels and i'm pretty sure she said she saw either an Eglu or a cube can't remember though.

 

 

 

TBH i don't want to move again, i'm sick of it...I'm thinking of buying my mum a camper van

Well there's a lot of ground between Walsall and wales those chickens could be anywhere. I always look out for chickens, eglus and cubes when I'm on a train but not seen any yet.

 

I'd love to live in Wales Raina, think surrounded by fields and farms You better have a long chat with mum if you really don't want to move.

I can understand your mum wanting a better life for you all. I can also understand you being uprooted again isn't nice either. Looking on the bright side - you'll be nearer Space Chick! And Scramble and Purple Tree - you won't be lonely.

My OH would like to have a camper van - ugh! I'll have the smallholding and he can vamoose.

Where abouts in Wales Raina?

 

We went to Aberystwyth on Saturday to look at Uni ... really liked, it and we pulled out of the Uni and there were chickens sitting on the top of a really high wall along the main road!

You have my sympathy - My Dad was in the RAF, and in the 50 years my parents were married they had 33 addresses! even when Dad retired, at 55 he got another job that meant they kept on moving!

 

I think it got to the point that Mum viewed moving as an alternative to Spring cleaning!

 

The record for the Shortest stay was was when I was about 5. Mum was unpacking some more stuff one day after they we had been in the house for a week. Dad came home early and said "don't unpack any more" she thought he was going to make some tea and then she realised that he was looking a strange deathly pale colour - He'd just been posted again!

 

Thank goodness we lived in quarters and you didn't have to worry about selling/looking for a new house

I've got some great news...I think?

 

We aren't moving for at least a year now

 

I'm not sure where the house was all i know is that i can't spell the place lol, i think it's 45 - 50 miles away from Llandudno.

 

my mum said she's going to do the house up and buy a WIR before we move,She said she's going to look for a House near to Cannock first if she can't find one then she's going to look at houses in North Wales

I can beat you we were in our house for less than an hour

 

We arrived at our house,I had just put the eglu up (Took me 10 minutes) my uncles arrived with our furniture,Neighbours came out and threatened us, we left
