where did you get the bulbs from and were they expensive?

Morrisons. £1.99 for 100. They looked OK.

I'm lucky in that there is an enormous pussy willow at the end of the field but the crocuses come out a little earlier.

I need to get outside and plant my bulbs, but it is raining here at the moment.

I planted my bulbs on Sunday and still have bruised palms from the dodgy bulb planter It will be worth the pain in the spring though.

 

I have lost some Allium bulbs, hopefully they will turn up then I can get those in too.

 

Yesterday I planted 4 rows of broad beans and 2 rows of garlic, it may be a bit early but the weather was fab and I know that I won't get around to it in November when it is cold and wet.
