A few of us regulars on Facebook play their Scrabble game too,so a couple of months ago I set up a Scrabble tournament.

 

We are now on the grand final,& should be finished in a couple of weeks,& ready to start a new tournament,so I thought I would ask if anyone else fancies joining us?

 

You need to be registered on Facebook & you need to have the Scrabble app,as well as being 'friends' with anyone you play against.

 

Its a closed gropu,so if you would like to join please PM me & I will sen you an invite

Let me know your real name,as I will need to add you to my 'friends' list to do this.

 

We are still working out the rules of tournament #2 between us,so won't be starting for a couple of weeks.

Personally I think Caroline should have a handicap - maybe she should only play after a glass of wine or something - give us mere mortals a fighting chance!

If you are still one short, i'll join in, but if you already have even numbers i'll sit it out. And I'll try to remember to play this time (and I'm still recovering from a thrashing by Caroline - doesn't make me feel so bad, knowing she beat everyone )

Nice idea, I like the odd glass of wine ...however, as I play while I am supposed to be working, the glass of wine might impede my earning capacities as well as my scrabble abilities . I have lost to several of you in the past so I think I did get a bit lucky with the tiles. I could promise not to check any words in the dictionary bit of the scrabble app. I find it really useful for checking those letter combinations that surely "ought" to be words but often turn out not to be!

Ridiculous that it's not, considering some of the other words that are allowed .
