chick wiggle
Now thats better, can see you now But, I did miss your post, sorry Slight change of subject, am I mean for not letting my DD cut up photos of them when they were babies for a school project? Cooks
nope, I wouldn't either, not unless I could get a duplicate set made for that sole purpose.
chick wiggle
Oh thank you, She went up in a sulk when i said no but they are lovely photos of them when they were babies and i dont want them cutting up. She could put them through the copier but obviously thats not good enough I shall remain strong and just say 'No'
ClaireG
Nope i don't think your being a meanie. I havn't got many baby photos of Adam and would be very upset if he cut them up. Wrist is a bit better but my neck and shoulder have started to ache Had a hot shower earlier which helped them a bit.
Cooks
Oldest was asked to take a baby photo in when he was at infants, they never said it would be cut up or anthing, but they did just that, I went ballistic I am afraid, I am very precious about my photos The only thing they said was we want to see what each other looked like as a small baby... ok thats fine, noooo they let the child cut around the picture and stick it on a picture, which is lovely but if I had known that I would have sent them a copy. Laura & CTB
School projects tend to last 5 minutes - photos a lifetime, I wouldnt do it either ! Hope you're feeling better in the morning Claire
chick wiggle
Thanks for the vote of confidence folks Why dont school think a bit more and tell them to ask for pictures that they can cut up instead of just assuming? Problem is, my DD gets very involved in projects like this and wants to make hers the best! She always wants to go that one step further Oh Claire, what with all these accidents just lately Im thinking of getting some extra bubble wrap and cotton wool to wrap you all up in

Lewis
Night Debs I'd use a second copy too. We always have to go one step further - made a beaver dam in year 8 with my friend for a presentation, and when we were doing posters about the circulatory system, someone put red and blue lights in his!
