Trip to ikea, trip to tashas, chookies were snuggled, sheep tried to sit on my lap, coffee was drunk and flapjacks and the few brownies that Otis didn`t get were scoffed! Cookie should be home by now and installing chickies in their new temp home Had a bit of drama when I got home - found a note through the door to tell me that Polly Pom Pom the Polish was currently hanging out in a neighbours garden! Rushed round to be told be a slighly bewildered neighbour that they had discovered Pollu wandering up the cul de sac and retrieved her and plonked her in their garden for safe keeping! PHEW!!!! Retrieved her and had a little chook chat with them. It seems that OH went out and Polly managed to sqeeze under the side gate (3") and went for a wander! Needless to say both gates now have pieces of wood blocking them now! Will be dropping eggs and thankyou prezzie round to the neighbours tomorrow! And as Tasha says she did well to get as far as she did considering she can`t see a thing! The neighbours weren`t really convinced that she was actually a chicken! They did say she was very friendly and well behaved Thankfully all their patio pots remained intact which is more that I can say for mine!!!! COOOOKKKIIIEEEEEE - PICTURES!? Got to B&Q just as they were closing so will have to go back some time in the week.
