it was so exciting my little quail has hatched this morning.

 

All is looking well at the moment and her brooder is ready for her when she needs it.

 

Sorry I haven't sussed out how to post images on here yet. Hope you don't mind me sharing my excitement.

Have your Quail in the other incy done anything yet? I can't remember if you set at the same time??

no, wobbling though.. they were set a couple of days later.

Our new chick was fine for the first day but aqppeared lethargic in mornings after being on own in brooder (with brinsea brooder) so hubby now has put a heat lamp in too as we have a large brooder but little chick seems not to be able to stand up and falls on her back and can't get up waving her legs about????

 

Ideas please

When she does stand are her legs ok? My dork was a weakling for about 3 days, would fall over alot... has it eaten and drunk?

yes, she can stand sometimes and we are syrnge feeding.. Doing what we can for her.
