scarlettohara
Went to Golden Valley Poultry today (what nice people) and picked 2 Golden's. They have settled in nicely (actually spent the afternoon stuffing their faces ). Scarlett is very excited by them and there has been lots of 'talking', I don't think there is much wrong with her as she gave one a good peck on the head, she has also been out for supervised free ranging and loved it, she did however stay close to me. Tutti Frutti
Congratulations! And good news for Scarlett too, she sounds like she's well on the way to recovery. Did you go to GVP near Guildford? We went there - they are lovely people with lovely chooks! Well done
scarlettohara
Yes near Frensham, I was going to separate them tonight (the run is cut in half with canes) but they told me to rub talcum over them and put them in the eglu together - I'm going to give it a go and see what happens ! Scarlett is brilliant and thanks everyone for all your support and good ideas Edited to say: Er ... Plan B - just been to check on them, canes dismantled and they are in together the best of friends No injuries and all seemingly quite happy. scarlettohara
Didn't see any (would they have been in with the bantams?) - the bantams were flying in all directions as some were being caught. Saw a little cockeral in the field and the goats, was also given a dozen eggs free as they had so many I know I should be isolating my new chickens but they sort of had other ideas
