milly3
hi i'm milly, i'm new to all this so i need a helping hand looking around the forum. i took delievery of my new on 3rd march with 3 gorgeous girls 1 and 2 . i enjoyed these so much i wanted to get 2 more chickens,so a week later i got 1 amber star and a . -henrietta, -bluebell and dandylion took about a week to get used to the new chickens -duchess, -blanche, and now don't really pick on them like they did. is still abit quiet and seems a bit of a loner sometimes and blanche tries to take over but henrietta gives her a peck occasionally just to remind her who's boss!!. They seem to like their new home and 4 out of 5 r now laying. !egg well by or now milly3

figarogir1
It isnt sad to weigh your eggs, well maybe it is but we all do it I didnt weigh my first couple because I didnt think of it, then I realised that everyone on here seemed to be. I started and now even my teenagers weigh an egg when they bring it in to check if they are getting any bigger. It is quite a competition as to who can collect the biggest egg
