My cleaner moves things occasionally, and I get very stressed about, but then I remember that I have a wonderful woman doing my cleaning for me, so I get over it quickly

 

My OH is guilty of putting things in the wrong place occasionally.... he gets my wrath

My Dad lived with me for a year after Mum died. My cupboards were all rearranged, he had ornaments everywhere and generally took over.

 

Bless him, he also had a hatred of candles. I'd have them out in the evening, go to work next day and he'd clear them away. I found loads of candles in the shed when he moved out. I wouldn't mind but he buys them for himself now.

It happens all the time here - Mother who lives in the granny annexe complains that our communal dishwasher is always full and she has to empty it - this is because we run it over night and don't have time to empty it in the morning. Her main part of the gripe is that she puts all my stuff away but I just leave hers on the side in her kitchen. I keep telling her I'd much rather she left it on the side cos she puts EVERYTHING in the wrong place and it's NOT helpful!

 

Mark bless him has not yet learned exactly where I like all the cutlery put but he is slowly understanding the need for a Lock & Lock cupboard!!! Something he found highly amusing when he first moved in!

I have a tupperware cupboard too Phil thinks I am mad However, you can NEVER have too much tupperware

i am amazed that you are all so organised

 

I am so not organised people used to come and visit and tidy up /put stuff away - they've given up now

 

I actually have a tidy kitchen - I went and got lots of Lock and Lock - my kitchen is a lock and lock paradise - kev keeps checking my temperature to see if I am ok

 

one day I might move onto the next room - but dont hold your breath

Yes, thankfully she still loves her Mummy no matter what I do!

Mum does that - she comes and stays over for a couple of nights and everything is moved. Pile of these things here and those things there - pending items are mixed in with done - I'm still finding things even now after the Christmas holidays. The worst one was a Christmas card to a friend which was waiting for a letter actually ended up at the bottom of the card box under the unused ones.

Murray never seems to remember exactly how cups go back in the cupboard and I'm always reshuffling them - I mean he does get them out from the same place, so why can't he put them back in their spot? I also redo the dishwasher. Mum washes by hand and when she's gone home they have to be put back in the washing because she misses bits. Then cutlery forks in with the knives, spoons in different cubby holes! Arghhhhh! I know I'm a messy person, but the odd bits that actually are under control as a rule drive me up the wall when they are put back in different places. Not to mention those items you need but cannot be found.
