Omlet cube and run

I'd like to get a WIR, but don't know where to start. I have an eglu and eglu run but the chickens need more room. So my plan is to keep the eglu but house it in a WIR.

 

Where is the best place to buy one - can anyone recommend any websites where I can buy one online? For a decent price too!

Where abouts do you live?

 

Would you want to assemble it yourself, or have someone do it for you?

 

Mine was from West Hagley Avairies and cost £256 delivered for a 15x6 foot WIR

You then need to add a concrete base (~£90 laid) onto that, a corrugated plastic roof (£109) and fixings too.

I will 2nd Bay animal housing, made mine to measure and excellent value and only £40 to post to scotland. I would also say dont put the cube in if you can help it, when I got the WIR I copied some I saw on here and put it outsite, very easy just cut hole in the wire, makes cleaning and egg collection so easy. would never go back to having it inside now oh and also gives the girls more room.

 

LOL chickens are so additive!!!! since getting the WIR I have taken on 4 ex batts, now wouldnt put anymore in....so planning a 2nd cube and bigger WIR dont tell the hubby!

I would recommend aviaries4you. Tony has built three runs for us now and they are very well made.
