Guest
Hi We have not had our polling cards, has everyone else got their ones? I know we can still vote as long as we are on the electoral register, but it does seem late? Or is this normal, I cant remember when they should arrive, anyone know please? indie

docsquid
We have a postal vote after one year I missed the election because I was in hospital. However this year we are going to fill ours in and take them to the polling station instead as you can hand them in as well as post them. We don't trust the post to get them in on time. Valkyrie
We had ours ages ago. Sounds rather odd you haven't got them yet. I'm voting Plaid doobrie because I like plaids and tartans.

Valkyrie
There's only one problem - we don't live in Wales so I can't. I wonder if the Monster Raving will ever return.

Valkyrie
Ah - do they have a dog? I believe one actually got in somewhere in this neck of the woods - think it was Portsmouth or perhaps Plymouth.

paddy1709
I saw Nick Clegg at the local pub in Malvern yesterday. All I really noticed was that he is quite small and his skin isn't as good as I expected after seeing him on TV. How shallow am I!

Guest
I wish I could work out what they are going to do about anything anyone asks them these days, I suppose someone has to stand.... Which one looked like Johnny Depp?? Then I may end up at a polling station! Unfortunately I dont think any of them currently do........ Egluntyne
I saw Nick Clegg at the local pub in Malvern yesterday. All I really noticed was that he is quite small ....... He is our MP. I've seen him about the place umpteen times. He's around 6ft. 'Appen he was sitting down when you clocked him.
paddy1709
Crikey I have just googled him - he is 6ft 1 and a 1/2 inches - talk about getting it wrong. Mind you there was a complete mob around him and we couldn't get very close. We are now in one of the marginal seats as the present incumbant is leaving (now I could tell you a very funny story there .........!) sadietoo
My DD who is at Exeter Uni, is registered to vote here in Sussex, and received her poling card here whilst she was on Easter Hols. With her usual Manana attitude she did absolutely nothing about this although she was going to be in Exeter on voting day...(and she assures me she never got round to doing anything about it) but it seems my worries that she wouldn't be able to vote were unfounded...because this evening she has told me that she received a poling card for Exeter...so that's alright then
