mostin
Got another "renta-broody" sat on a clutch of eggs . None of my girls ever seem to properly sit tight, but this one has been bothering a friend for months and clogging up the nest box with all her palaver, so she has come to live with Aunty Mostin for a short while, and is now happily sitting tight on a dozen eggs. 6 are from my Columbine who lays cream instead of green eggs , but she is a fab layer and they are a beautiful shade of cream and a fab shape. The other 6 are from my Coton Blue who lays green eggs. They have been fertilized (I hope ), by Laurmaurf's Aracauna cockerel, who has been having a little holiday with us. He carries the genes for pure blue eggs shells, so I am hoping for some very pretty egg laying girls out of this bunch. Fingers crossed, but trying not to count my chckens yet
