quirkas Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 My Speckledy chickens peck at a the chicken who is having the dust bath, they are quite pecky anyway and tend to seize this opportunity. So thinking about getting a tray with highish sides to offer give some protection. It will need to go into the cube perhaps underneath so it stays dry. Any ideas? Chucky Mama Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 We had an old car tyre in the garage that I have just put out in the garden for mine. Don't know if they will use it though as they have places in the garden borders that they like using. I would like them to use it though as the wild birds use their dust baths and are sure to pass lice on to them. I have filled in all of their favourite places in the hope that they will use the tyre.
