Plenty

Recommended Posts

I had this cookbook given to me for my birthday last week by my Best Friend. All I can say is WOW...so far I have made the leek fritters, the green couscous, the lentil and celeriac salad, and the lettuce salad . Plenty is entirely vegetarian, and best of all imo, it has a very short Pasta section, with just a couple of exciting/interesting pasta dishes instead of the same old twenty which pad out most veggie cookbooks...The recipes are straightforward, and not overly "cheffy". I can honestly say that I haven't been soo inspired to cook since "The Enchanted Broccoli Forest" was sent to me by and aunt in the states...

Yotam Ottolenghi has apparenly been around for some time, and writes for the Saturday Guardian, and there is a restaurant chain in London... the food isn't exclusively vegetarian, but I will definitely seek the restaurant out when I am next in town...

If your local library has a copy I thoroughly recommend you test drive this book...I don't think you will be disappointed with the results if my recent efforts are anything to go by
