foreveryoung
hello, I have 3 rather skinny girls, rather hen pecked too, I was wondering it i should seperate them from the other girls and give them their own food for a couple of weeks allowing them to fatten up a tad as you can see thir brest bone quiet clearly, they go to bed with reasonably full crops... they have a feeder that they all can get round from any direction, treats are seperated around the run in the afternoon (not every day).. they have been wormed and mite treated, Ive also had them on thier backs while i looked for mites an I cant find any.. Im at a loss as to what to do.

Mollie333
You could seperate them, or better option make sure there are two feeders and two drinkers avalible. I had to do this with Pat, because the other girls can't share there food.
chickyhazel
We have 4 feeders between 9 girls in the , and 2 feeders between 4 girls in the to make sure everyone gets enough. If you have multiple feeders spread around it should help.
Christian
I would treat them for worms first and then try to fatten them up.
