Lost Chicken.

Recommended Posts

Hi, thanks for uploading it Rhys!

Shes very thin and has really really REALLY long legs and a 'normal' shaped comb but still little. She is very tame, and hopefully someone will come and get her if she has been lost but me and Rhys think she HAS been abandoned because of her condition. Her tail feathers at the end was covered in pooh so i had to bathe her and cut the ends. She is looking in much better condition, she is tiny and ill say this again REALLY POORLY LOOKED AFTER.

To be fair, she might not have been poorly looked after, but might be thin and a bit dirty because she escaped and had been fending for herself for a few days. It wouldn't take a young hen long to lose weight and condition.

She is a beauty. I hope you can find her owner, but if not, how lovely to have acquired a 'Chicken of Fate'. I've always wanted one. :D

She is about the right colour for a blue leghorn, but doesn't have the darker 'top' feathering of a langshan. Her legs are very pale. There are some tiny wattles and a small comb, but without knowing her age, it isn't possible to say whether they are 'of concern'.

We could do with a close up of her neck feathers, and a good side view of the tail..
