Couperman
YES! My prayers have been answered. I can set the alarm clock to 6.30 again without fear of having to put up with her inane slurred drivel. No more, "SW's to you", "Leg in a Pant", "Chesticles", "Sainsbugs", "The Much Beloved" and "If we're spared" to name but a few of her hilarious catchphrases. No more fading of two thirds of a record so we can feast our ears on the latest installment of "I've got some cats and they are very interesting" with stunning sound effects from her not in the slightest bit annoying sound board. She will now have just about enough time to fit all of her holidays in too. Well done 'Bunty' I wish you a long and happy retirement as far away from a microphone as you can possibly get. Kev. sadietoo
Hurrah!! I really couldn't stand the woman and concur with everything you say Couperman...but...do we know who is the replacement? Hopefully not Tony Blackburn
Snowy
Well I'm going to stick my neck out and say I used to enjoy her - but it's a long time since I've been up early enough to listen regularly! I'm surprised she hasn't gone earlier as she does seem to have deteriorated on the odd occasion that I have heard her lately. Looks like Lyn Parsons has been drafted in for the next 4 weeks until they find a permanent replacement.

deejmum
I was so glad when Chris Evans to the slot from 7 am, she used to drive me mad until 7.30! Now I wake up to Moira reading the news and then Chris being a whole lot more uplifting than Sarah.
craftyhunnypie
The only thing I ever remember her for is Game for a laugh tv show. I'm sure I've got the right Sarah. She is truly awful. Emma.x

craftyhunnypie
Oh the long haired chipmunk face. I used to hate her when I was a little girl, so there was never any hope for her. Emma.x

Space Chick
Bye bye to the show tunes as well. There are some things you really don't want to hear at that time in the morning.... A second rate recording of Oliver or Oklamhoma are examples
Chickvic
Thank goodness for that! Each to their own but I can't stand the random witterings.
craftyhunnypie
I enjoy show tunes - but wouldn't at that time in the morning. Emma.x
Old Speckled Hen
I feel sorry for her. She may be ill. She is rumoured to be an alcoholic. Whatever it is has proved too much for her. I think we should let it rest. Now the fact that Tony Blair needed half a bottle of wine with his dinner is much funnier. Wow!! a whole HALF a bottle, and to think he could have been in charge of the country.........oh sorry, he was!!
Chucky Mama
Oh dear Now I feel really bad. I have googled her and it isn't very pleasant reading. Lets hope that being in a less demanding environment is better for her health and wellbeing.
