My son is going to see Muse and he doesnt know what time it finishes..seems to think its midnight!!!

 

I have been on the websites but cant find any programme. Can anyone enlighten me

Aha - I can help here I think.

Notice my earlier post about National Express coaches to & from the gig? - well,the coach leaves at 11.45,so I estimate an end time of 11.15.

 

I will be sending my girls with sarnies & red bull,as they get there at 2.30pm!

I went to see them in Manchester on Saturday!!! AMAZING!!!! They came on stage at 8.15pm and played until 10pm. went off, Matt Bellamy did a quick suit change(brilliant one with flashing lights), they were barely off - a couple of mins, then they played an encore until 10.30pm. The area around Lancashire cricket ground has a very strictly adhered to cut-off time for all gigs. Hope this helps.

 

Just to add, that made an approximate playing time for MUSE of 2 hr 15 mins, so if the finish time is 11 I guess they will not be on stage until 8.45pm.

To all going you/they will love it. It was my second time and they were superb. Unfortunately for me I went with my 18 yr old son and ended up very close to the front and 'moshing' My back??? best not mentioned as still suffering

The kids are furious that they get Lily Allen,but the lucky things going on Saturday get the amazing Biffy Clyro

im going to wembly on saturday VERY excited now !!! Have to say after watching Biffy at Reading (on tv!!) the seemed rubbish live would much rather see lily hope I am proved wrong.

He is parking his car at the station and going on the train so I was worried if due to people volume he would end up getting out too late

 

He is going with a bunch and they are getting there early 4pm to go to the front! They want to go to the front!! I hope he doestn make it worried he will end up crushed..will mention the bad back etc

 

But knew I could rely on omleters to provide answers thanks..oh to be young again

Last time I went to Wembley was Disney on ice(thinking on it was the same child)!

The downside is that they are also right at the front for Lily Allen, although they inform me that they have their gameboys with them,so its not a total disaster

Are they all back safe and sound........mine are just getting glamorised for their 10am departure. They have their T shirts and considering they dont cook ..made a whole load of cookies last night to take (along with other frozen delicacies)

Mine are still sleeping it off,after a 2am bedtime.

They had a great time and it sounds like a spectacular show.....they got right to the front too,lucky things.

 

The coach was a big success too,and I was happy they were safe and sound

From one extreme to the other, my daughter's going to Proms in the Park tonight. It's a lovely warm evening in London tonight and she has a flag!

Hope Muse goes well.

Forgot to say, she had great time at Muse last night and got out quickly.

Well I know they arrived and they were determined to go right to the front and I dont have to worry as if there is a crush they will get pulled out of the crowd by the burly chaps and end up on the stage with Muse...right....

I can't stress it enough... too much standing right at the front at gigs myself when I was a student I have some nifty musician's earplugs that are all but invisible and allow me to enjoy the music without damaging my hearing any further

They got back at 1.30am and Lily Allen was not on but some other unheard of fantastic group who was better??(Lily Allen sort of grew on me over the years) but they did stand at the front and yes they do have backache but from standing. They thought it was a brilliant concert

 

I dont even know one song they sing Just glad they all got back in one piece
