Hi guys! As some of you may know, at the end of last month, nearly a 4 weeks ago, two little chicks hatched. I have no idea what breeds they are, or whether they are boys or girls! As you can imagine I really would quite like to know. So..... introducing:

Not sure on breeds sorry but I would say boys if they are not yet four weeks.

I'd say boys too, albeit with my limited experience.

 

I read somewhere that only boys leave their legs down when you pick them up like that at a young age, and have found that to be true with mine so far. The combs are also quite large for their age. My girls had less comb at more than twice that age.

 

They are really pretty birds though, bet they will be stunning when they grow up!

It's not that i don't trust you all but i just want to make extra doubley sure now that they are older! They are nearly 10 weeks now - I can't believe it!

Still boys. That's an awful lot of red head gear going on for ten weeks. I've got some chicks that are older and those girls have no comb whatsoever.

Boys, sorry. Their headgear is massive compared to that of my two 10 week old girls.
