janeears
On completion of our WIR, we bought an Argos radiator rail to support the grub and glug. This is great for the former but isn't strong enough for the glug. I'm currently having to re-attach and re-fill it at least twice a day which is a pain. If anyone could suggest an alternative method of supporting their water, I'd be very grateful. I don't really want to buy a new drink dispenser - have spent a fortune on the chooks over the last month!!
Plum
You could take a piece of your run and use omlet clips to attach it to the weldmesh then the glug hangs on that. I mounted a piece of run on battons screwed to an upright and hang things on it.
janeears
Good idea, Plum. We've currently got our run on ebay - if it doesn't sell then we'll reappropriate bits!!
Ain't Nobody Here
Kroken kitchen rails from Ikea seem to be popular . I use a piece of laminate flooring - the little groove is just right for a glug/grub hook .
janeears
Thanks, ANH. Will investigate these ideas.
MummyHen
I bought a pair of these from the shop https://www.omlet.co.uk/shop/shop.php?cat=Chicken+Keeping&sub=Spares&product_id=499&product_name=Run+Skirt+Square+-+Pair and they are just the correct width for a glug or grub

janeears
Popped to our local Ikea today and bought the Kroken rail. It's brilliant - really sturdy, supporting both the glug and grub. Thanks for the advice, you knowledgable lot!!
