the-real-tinkerbell Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) well it looks like im getting 2 chickens today lol i asked for some brushwood fencing on freecyle so seperate my garden for the chickens ,the woman gave it me and asked if i would take her 4 chickens aswell , i dont have room for 4 so im having 2 and my mums going to take the other 2 i just hope theses lay as at the mo i have 8 girls and im lucky if im getting 2 eggs a day lol my 3 exbatts dont lay ,i had eggs for the first few days but now nothing but they are nice and feathered now so im hoping in spring they may lay for me lol photos added enjoy Edited October 31, 2010 by Guest Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

She has breaks for the winter when her moult comes but she does lay one, sometimes two eggs a week usually. He/She (who we got at the same time) hasn't laid eggs for some time. I don't know what it is about a ginger chicken but they seem to be just what chickens should be. If I think 'chicken' then that is how I imagine them.
