Chucky Mama
There has been some digging activity around my compost but no poison was taken from the bait box when I put it out. I saw a rat when I went out running from next door's garden so I put out a humane trap baited with muesli. However, it was not a rat guilty of the hole digging Hopefully is is one of Brenda's babies (hedgehog we rescued and release a couple of years ago)

Chucky Mama
Oooh don't know I will have to consult with the kids who are responsible for all namings. I hope she is heavy enough to hibernate, she was bright and alert. As Kevin our tortoise has hibernated I expected the hogs to be asleep by now too. I gave it a good pile of mealworms but she wasn't interested. Perhaps she has had a good fill of worms from the compost. She might pop back later tonight for them.
