Guest
looking for recommendations for places to eat in and around euston/bloomsbury/tottenham court road etc. Any hidden gems you know about would be even better! would prefer somewhere that serves really tasty food regardless of decor or the name of the chef... thanks in advance. if you know of somewhere too good to miss in and around the west end then let me know too please. whoopsie
Cafe Rendezvous (Leicester square) is amazing for ice cream. Warning though - the sundaes are HUGE so you'll either need to share or eat nothing else for a long time! You could also take a walk along the South Bank (brilliant on its own) and stop for food at Pieminister in Gabriel's Wharf. It'll be cold as the place is tiny and you have to sit outside but YUMMMMMMMM!!!! Have a good trip x
Olly
If you like Indian food then Ravi Shankar on Drummond Street (behind Euston Station) is fabulous - in fact any of the restaurants down there are good. It's vegetarian and unlicensed as far as I recall, not been recently, but they do Southern Indian food which is very different to the Bengali food served in most 'curry house' restaurants. Sheilaz
Will send you a pm Poet. I know a West End gem, you'll love it. I'm hoping to go to a small gig at The Strongrooms in Shoreditch (other commitments permitting ) on Weds, I just love London. Are you off to the theatre, poetry or other?
