Clothkits

Recommended Posts

Clothkits website have got a sale on. Some lovely kits on there. I have indulged & ordered quite a lot of stuff. I love the birdie bag & purse kit reduced to £12. Will make it as my knitting club bag & the purse can hold my buttons, stitch holders etc. I also bought a lion cushion / toy kit for £3 something, some bobble edging, some fabrics, some very kitsch ribbons on bobbins & a doll kit. Can't wait for it all to come & I can make some nice things. 8)

I wanted a few felting kits too & a campervan tapestry cushion kit - but will have to wait until my next big craft spend from my craft money pot (£2 coins).

The lion is super easy. 3 pieces to cut out, sew round & stuff. The dolly is quite easy too - just a bit more cutting out & snipping of seams after sewing - but easy. The bag is a bit more complicated as you have to line it too & there is a zip to put in the purse. You also have to cut & make your own bag handles. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner. Some of the little girl dresses look very simple. Cut out, fold in half, sew round & your little girl has a dress to wear. I haven't got children though & think they might be a bit too small for me. Shame!

Go for a lion kit or an eskimo! Look on the website.
