PurpleTree
...Granny Square! Well it's actually my second, but the first went a little wrong. Thanks to Egluntyne for recommending the Crochet Unravelled book on an earlier thread, I've been working my way through it and last night crotcheted this one. It is quite easy to easy understand once you get your head around it A lot easier once hubby has gone out so there's no telly and no one talking to you too Which is why I think I went wrong on the first one. Need to raid my mum's wool supplies now, so I can carry on with the rest of the book

Miss Millies Chicken
Yes thumbs up for the crochet unravelled book . A complete beginner, I have worked my way thru the book and made the daisy facecloth. You lot also inspired me to have a go at knitting socks. I have just finished my first ever pair with the help of Violet Green and You tube. Many thanks for your helpful web sites links.
