Jools Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 I always use it now and then move onto medicated growers for at least one sack before switching to A&P growers. The medicated feed I get is from WCF and it's their own brand (or milled locally, I can't remember which). I know it's only coincidence but the one year I didn't, two out of five chicks had serious growth problems that materialised at around 6 wks and while I had them pm'd, I never did find out the cause. Griffin Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 I use medicated crumb, after losing some chicks to Cocci when I used A&P crumb, and I don't ever want to go through that again. My feed merchant orders it in for me and 20kg lasts a while here. It's made by BOCM and whilst not the best quality it'll do. On the plus side however the plastic bag it comes in is good for growing potatoes in I'm almost at the end of a bag of it and my potatoes are ready and waiting Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
