Have found the pattern now - thanks!Emma.x I have been using a 4mm hook and just normal dble knitting wool. The thing is though, you can adapt the pattern and use a larger hook and thicker yarn and just make your increases accordingly, once the circle measures about 16cm, stop increasing. I've made the hat in several different types of yarn this hat, for example, was made with a really soft, silky and VERY stretchy yarn so I had to stop increasing after 8cm! (only found this out after doing a 16cm round and finding it was far too big so had to unravel and do over) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They are so nice your hats! I've got a very large yarn stash that could do with reducing a bit. These will see me through Winter, plus I just love hats. One minute it was a small circle, next minute it was on my head. Was very therapeutic to make. Just the flower to do now & I might make another later. Thanks for sharing.
