Mum of teen boys

Recommended Posts

I popped into John Lewis today to get OH a new dress shirt as we're going to an 007 themed party and his dress shirt was bought for our wedding. Very helpful assistant found the right size and talked about which style was more modern and after a bit I realised she assumed I was buying it for my son not my husband. When did I become so mumsy that even strangers can tell I'm a mum of teen boys

I look just like a mum - hair needs colouring and taming, jeans thrown on - toe nail polish chipped and the bags under the eyes which would hold a weeks shopping. That and the reading glasses on my head in case I need to read something and ES's out grown hoodie. Thats a mum - and yes I have a teen of 15 going on 35

I am a Mum of 4...3 boys (2 teens) and one daughter, age 5...

I have discovered that if I hold my arms up above my head my boob**s rise up and assume their position pre-children and if i gently pull the skin back near my jaw line then my jowls disappear...

where there is a will there is a way  shame I don't have more than one pair of hands

I'm a mum of teenagers, and yes, it becomes so apparent!! Could be the rather harried expression, and the look of always being late

I also dress "differently" to how I used to, , there is never time for me to concentrate on me as my time is spent saying, Hurry up, and You have 5 minutes etc etc....... but I'll miss them when they're gone, I think!!

being very long sighted anything like chip n pin keyboards with big numbers are a godsend for ageing moms like me. Without my specks I struggle. However was very proud at work the other day removed a miniscule bit of glass from someones foot. Think 3 salt grains clumped together and you'll know what I mean. Still gotta go with the flow I expect.
