Guest
Love the words you all come you with. 'Google' is a favourite word of mine, and wish I'd invested in it when it was a little known search engine!! My still best pal Sarah from junior school named her favourite doll 'Goose-chicken', which given the omlet forum, I think was a very imaginative name. Guest
My mum was talking about her neighbour today, and called her a 'Flibberdegibert' (she's having an affair with some guy 20 years her junior) I want to add that to my list of favourite words! Guest
Yes, Gina, it's a clown. My favourite film of all time. I stopped counting the number of times I'd seen it at 35 and that must have been 20 years ago! How do you find a word that means Maria? A flibbertygibbet? A Will-o-the-wisp? A Clown? Got to listen to the CD now!

The Dogmother
My favourite too Gina, and it's available on CD! Guest
Probably Amazon. I've got a 40th Anniversary special edition (original soundtrack + 11 bonus tracks). It's a Sony BMG Music Entertainment Ltd. recording.
Sheilaz
Edelweiss...that sets me off. Yes, that would be in my top 10 films. A group of us went to join in "Sinagalongasoundofmusic". I nearly didn't go as I thought it would spoil it for me....its a big audience participation evening...the film is shown, following instructions on how to "add" to the film. Its hilarious. I really didn't expect to enjoy it at all, but I was crying with laughter. We all dressed up (as did most of the audience). Esther...then aged about 6, was the little one (Gretchen?) and I was an older sister. Great fun singing along, and we had to do sound effects too. :lol
Guest
I once went to a 'singalongaoklahoma' with a huge group girls as part of a hen night - what a fantastic night! I quite like The Sound of Music and have seen it loads of times, but somehow have never managed to see the last 5 minutes, something always happens! I think I may never watch it now, as every time I miss the end, I make up another ending, and i'm sure I would just be dissapointed if I saw the real ending now!
