The Dogmother
And for once, it wasn't being laid flat by racing lurchers... this was my finger. I was washing fox poo off Ruby, under the outside tap, and she decided to shake just as my hand was on her collar... her heavy ID tag twacked me very hard on the knuckle and it was swollen and black for a couple of days. Just about sums up what she thinks of being washed

The Dogmother
I think I might have - the bruising and swelling have gone down but it's still a tad tender.
kinsk
Looks painful. If it's any consolation I have three bruises running in stripes, the longest just over 20cm long down the inside of my thigh from where big black dog pawed me because I was ignoring him. I wont post pictures

The Dogmother
Today I have a lump on the back of my left calf where Cyrus (daft loon that he is) cartwheeled into the back of my legs when he was mucking about
Seagazer
That looks sore. I've always got bruises on my legs from Cookie, she runs with other dogs, never looks in the direction she's going and always comes back to me! I narrowly missed being knocked over by her and one of her doggie friends yesterday as they glanced past me from behind. One of the ladies in the park broke both her legs when two dogs (one was hers) charged into her and smashed her up against a tree. That scares the life out of me. The Dogmother
Me too Ann - my ex's GSD had laid me lengthways a few times now and with him being built like a tank, it takes the wind out of me. He never looks where he's going and it's only a matter of time before he bashes into me again
