Hope you are OK there Justine? That echo thing sounds serious.

 

thanks for asking chick, because of my marfan's I've had a normal echo every year for 30 odd years but they decided they wanted a clearer picture this year. The TOE scan means there's no chest wall etc in the way to block the scan. It's 'orrible to have it done but thank goodness they didn't find anything that they didn't already know about and they couldn't have been more lovely and caring!

 

Bit of a sore gullet today but nothing some ice cream and maybe a JD or two can't sort out! ;):lol:

I love Thorntons too - there's an outlet shop at Talke . Might have to bob over & see what they have in for Easter treats.

There is a normal Thortons shop in Sandbach now too - naughty Thorntons! :lol:

So Poet, what's your favourite chocolate from there? Vienese whirl is a fave of mine - but love them all.

I even like the strawberry pigs. :oops:

Have you had the Alpini cake yet? We have a Thorntons cafe near us and they serve HUGE slices - even bigger when they get near the end of the cake and decide they can't cut it any smaller! We have a slice of that between us!

 

You can also buy a whole cake if you are having a party - I think that's my next birthday covered.

 

Hope you enjoy the JD - for medicinal purposes of course!
