chuckmum6
Is anyone else eagerly waiting for the new series to start? We are all big Dr Who fans in our house (although I really really liked the 10th Dr the best), we are cracking open an Easter egg each to nibble during it, 15 mins to go, the trailers looked very good! LuckyChickenLover-
Spoiler! Don't read if you haven't seen the episode yet: "Doctor... I'm pregnant"... Shocker!... NOT! Errr I think you'll have to copy and paste into Word to read that. Oh well at least it won't spoil the plot for anyone.
chuckmum6
I think the new doc is ok, not David Tennant of course, but still good to watch just not the eye candy. Really interesting story lines which help me get over his departure (traitor) .

What a waste of a regeneration! I agree about the story lines. The lsat series that David Tennant was in was just AWFUL
Sam
I used to watch Dr Who, but can't really say I enjoy it anymore. I saw the premier of the first series with Matt Smith though, he used to go to my school so he came back for an afternoon to watch the first episode and do a q+a with Karen Gillan and they both seemed nice, but I just can't get into it now! WitchHazel
At least he wasn't as bad as Christopher Eccleson who only stayed for one series! What a waste of a regeneration! Not a total waste of a regeneration - the series with Christopher Eccleston in really regenerated the whole franchise. He was also really a really good doctor - although eclipsed by David Tennant, who really became the Doctor for me. I'm quite liking Matt Smith. I didn't particularly at first, but he's settling in, and I like Amy & Rory and how they all interact ALso loving RIver, but was a bit surprised that the Doctor didn't know her that well, when Davi d Tennant's Doctor knew her quite well (and knew she knew his name). C&T
ALso loving RIver, but was a bit surprised that the Doctor didn't know her that well, when Davi d Tennant's Doctor knew her quite well (and knew she knew his name). She explained that one though - As she knows him more, he knows her less - as they are travelling the opposite direction in time - or something like that!! (Put small so as not to ruin if people not seen!!) I am really enjoying the "modern" Dr Who - all the different actors add something different - and this series is promising to be a bit darker than previous ones, which should be interesting! LuckyChickenLover-
I'm confused about the whole River thing (Probably because I only watched a couple of episodes in the last series) The only time I remember her from before was in the episode with the Vashtanerada or whatever they were called (the tiny things that live in shadows that eat you). Could someone please explain it to me via PM? Thanks
chuckmum6
I'm loving River too, intrigued by how the story will develop, I'm looking forward to Saturday (but it means my lovely Easter holiday will be almost over )!
