I collected my Cats ashes today :(

Recommended Posts

I collected my beloved Gnasher's ashes today :(

I had to have him put to sleep a couple of weeks ago... he had been ill for a few months and it got to the point that he was having breathing difficulties and I couldn't have him suffering x

I have missed him so much and he is totally irreplaceable...he was part feral, a mouser extraordinaire, a bodyguard and bouncer (protecting the girls once from a fox-attack), and my loyal friend and companion. RIP my beautiful boy...

On the next lovely sunny day I am going to scatter the ashes in his favourite sunny snoozing spot where he loved it the best xxx :)

We know we can't ever replace him, but our lives and home are so empty without him. We have contacted our local Cats Protection and have a home visit next week to adopt a new cat (hopefully). We would like another boy if possible because Mr TL feels rather outnumbered (quite rightly!) in the female dept at our house!

Night Night my lovely Mr G xxx

I have to say that I will be sad if I ever leave this house as we buried my old dog Sally's ashes under one of the plants, where she used to snooze in the summer and my cat Molly's ashes are under another. I wish I'd put them in a pot with a plant in.

My YS is worried about this and he's had his rabbit's ashes in his bedroom for  about 2 years now.

So sorry to hear about Gnasher, he sounded a real character no wonder you're missing him. I got two male kittens from Cats protection a year ago and then went back in November and got them a little sister :D

I'm sure that you'll find the perfect one for you, good luck and I look forward to seeing some pics.

Hi :)

i just wanted to thank everyone for their lovely words and kind wishes x My littly (aged nearly three) keeps talking about Gnasher and said earlier that she was "going to the zoo to see Gnash", bless her x

I will certainly be posting photos on here as soon as our new arrival comes home!

Thanks again, it really does mean a lot to me :D
