just thought i would upgrade the girls to the penthouse suite just cant afford the lift or escalator so they will have to walk up the ladder

yes i did measure the height of the eglu but did not have that in mind, i did it to create floor space and also a shelter for them until i get the roof on

I was discussing this with OH last night, if we sold the cube we could alter the WIR to have two eglus attached to it one upstairs and one downstairs

 

Love the run, it looks good in the darker shade, how are your chooks getting on with the ladder? Has the high rise eglu confused them?

raising the eglu has not confused them one bit we went out to check on them at about 9.30 and found that they had all climbed the ladder and gone to bed and it was the same when they went to lay their eggs not only that but they use the ladder as part of their daily exercise up and down but they also like to do a bit off base jumping thats up the ladder and jump off the table they also do this in reverse to confuse you
