Henergy
Both of mine have stopped laying - one for only 3 days which I suppose is ok, but one hasn't laid for a week. One of them is doing lots of slushy poos too, but I don't know which. Is there anything to worry about or are they just being pains & will get back to normal (I don't want to have to go & buy eggs )
Chucky Mama
Have they been Flubenvet wormed within the last 3-4 months? Also have they perhaps had too many treats recently that may have reduced the amount of pellets or mash that they have been eating and caused the slushy poos? Henergy
Well they have started laying again. I'm wondering if its because they had different feed for a couple of days last week ? The freebie bag arrived which some of us claimed from one of the websites and I used it - maybe they just didn't like the change ??
KimmyCustard
I found that when I overdid the treats - ie: worms and corn, all mine stopped laying. I read on here that if they have too much protein, then this affects their laying. I stopped all treats for 3 days and they just had pellets, water and some broccoli. They all started laying again and I have given DH strict instructions not to be heavy handed with the treats or we'll be eggless again!
