I KNOW thats exactly what they think...my neighbours have even said so !!!!

I talk to all things furry and feathered, they all have names..even the fish in the pond (mind you they are all called bubbles)...

By the way Doctorsgirls whats wrong with me talking to my young celeriac plants or my potatoes come to that... AND i'VE GOT A Bobble hat...

Yep I think my neighbours could be right..the longer i keep chickens the worse i'm getting.

I'm lucky - my neighbour talks to the hens through the fence... and she says they talk back to her! So thankfully my neighbour is as nutty as I am

The people I work with ask me regularly how the girls are, especially since we got the new ones and went through a bit of a stressful time with them. You know you've converted them when they say 'and I thought all this time, well, they're just chickens. Now I know that they are more than that.'

My neighbours say that they don't get woken by my cockerel but they do wake up to my call of 'Good morning Chookies' called from my kitchen door as I walk to let them out. This is then followed by 'Hello, Dill, Hello, Dolly' etc. etc. as each birdy appears Could I be the 'neighbour from hell' ? Luckily it is not too early - well not before 7.30am.
