Could you fit larger door panel on side of cube run?

Recommended Posts

I've currently got a 3m run with original small door on the end, however I have adapted the end panel to create a large flap access which suits me just fine.

After doing a bit of measuring up I think I can fit another extension on the run to give the girls more room, but I was wondering if you could change one of the side run panels for the newer larger door end panel? Are they the same size. This would then give me access at both the end of the run and through the side... both options would greatly help me manage the girls with my ever growing baby bump.

Don't want to fork out ££ if it doesn't work...

Well if you are getting a new door you won't need much cobbling, it'll over lap the end door by about 1 bar and stand proud at the top in a beautiful curve

I'll go and look for pictures but I swapped the small door panel with a side panel so had to do a lot of patching with bits of skirt from under the cube to fill gaps.

Hope that helps :D

Looking at it again there is quite an overlap both sides of hole. Forgotten about that.

Also forgotten about this chicken I saw on holiday at about that time, what is it?

I want one

A few years ago you got a small door at the end like on the eglu. The door end was in two pieces so it was a simple matter of making a hinge with a load of clips and using just a few around the edge so that it could drop down for larger ladies like me to get in and out.

I don't think I could manage the larger door now so if I still used the run I would stick with drop down
