The local apples I buy from the Farmers' Market have just finished and I had to buy some from the Farm Shop instead - they came from New Zealand

Do you know, that drives me nuts! I sent OH to the farm shop teh other day: Its brilliant fro local meat, but OH picked up soem asparagus... from Holland I know the Netherlands aren't exactly a million miles away, but even so, this time of year....

 

As an aside...Have you seen how many air miles are in a typical bouquet of flowers? Hmm... Off to start a new thread!
