Finally the quail featuring Bimble who is the smallest but has the nicest markings, rubbish pics as they never keep STILL

They are all so lovely. Well done on your first home grown chicks. So exciting. I would love a silkie so am very I have also been researching quail but really need to feel a lot more confident with the chickens first

I was hoping you'd say that, your instinct about him was right He is a lovely boy and we love him, he is a perfect gentlemen with his ladies - all 23 of them I have only hatched one of his as an experiment - I think it will be cuckoo and hopefully frizzle

AAhh, he's not grumpy now. I just had to cull one of the millies, she ran out of the run door as I was closing it and got crushed, I held her for a while but she was suffering. Never done it before - I am so cross with myself, I know it was an accident and they are silly and flighty but I feel awful and stupid. Had to come to work and keep welling up
