Well this afternoon we opened the run door and....to be honest I expected a stampede!....after a minute or two, and with meal worm encouragement, the 'girls' finally ventured into the garden for the first time, where they spent several hours scratching around, eating worms and putting up with 2 excited young sons, the hubby and also me following them around with a camera!

So i would like to officially introduce.......

 

Violet....."Why do you keep pointing that camera at me!?"

 

Clover....."Oh go on take a picture, I am rather beautiful, aren't I!"

 

Marigold....."If I hide in these weeds the crazy lady with the camera can't see me!"

Yes Plum I agree, I think Clover's colouring is lovely and she definitely has a hint of blue! I've been looking at the breeder's website and they breed Sussex bantams in various colours, one of which is 'Coronation' - white with grey neck and tail...so I'm wondering if she is a coronation/buff cross!??

Whatever she is I think she's stunning!
