Henchanted
I am finding it hard to get this information from poultry sellers who advertise their stock as fully vaccinated. I find myself loosing confidence in sellers who make the "fully vaccinated" claim and then cannot say what they were vaccinated with or when. I know that if I were breeding dogs for example and selling them fully vaccinated I would be able to give the information in the advert not even waiting to be asked, if was one of my selling points I know there might be a slight variation around the country but I would love to hear from the forum what is the standard vaccine programme, please

Paul Peacock says his source is 'eden-livestock.co.uk' so I assume if you asked them, the list I posted is the list they would give you, and they are in Salisbury. Edit: even better - details of 'comprehensive vaccination programme' on their POL hybrids page http://eden-livestock.co.uk/vaccination.html
Henchanted
Thanks Squiffs, , I will phone them later today. I had already found them through google yesterday but didn't know it is their programme that is referred to in PP's book. Also their link to automatic contact by email doesn't work with my set up and I can't find their email address to type in. You wouldn't have their email address? Redwing
If you are buying hybrids then 99% of the time the people selling them did not breed or hatch them - this is probably why they dont know for sure the list of vaccinations given - there is probably an accepted course of vaccinations but many people buy from a middleman who may source from various hatcheries so I can see why suppliers would be reluctant to commit Pure breeds are not normally vaccinated, unless you are buying from the person who bred them and they can give you an exact detail of their vaccination status I would safely assume that none have been given
