Budgies
Oh lovely wise Omleteers! I was going to make a huge fruit crumble at the weekend for a family get-together that didn't happen, and now have cooking apples and blackberries that I don't want to waste. if I stew the fruit, can I freeze it in portions to do a couple of crumbles in the future? Thanks for your help! Sue Budgie x

SarahJo
Course you can - when I pick blackberries in the autumn. I make a massive batch of blackberry and apple, then freeze in amounts ready for crumbles
Guest
I stew the apples off my tree in the autumn and freeze pots of it. Then making apple crumble is SOO easy!
