it doesnt look very good to me

reminds me of a cat carrier on a wire run.

That is really strange. I'm trying to work out how they get up into the nest box 'cage'? There doesn't seem to be any mention of a ladder.

[izzys-hens]

I no it just looks like you have to pick them up and put them in yourself, its definatly not thought through what so ever, and for the price you could get a second hand eglu for about the same price usually

But that's crazy - what about when they need to lay or get frightened and want to hider - do you train them to activate a buzzer to come and lift them up or something? How bizarre

[fluffy chick]

I was surprised when I saw the price too! Perhaps they are meant to jump up into it. It isn't very clear how tall it is.

Are they meant to roost in the middle bit?! It's far too open to the elements and a fox would worry them to death trying to get in to them.

[chick wiggle]

It looks silly to me, cat box on a cage, i dont get it at all............and the price!

[HennyPenny]

I don't get this at all.....especially when the listing keeps mentioning rabbits!

[Benaberry]

I think I need the confused hat my husband keeps mentioning to me - i don't get this at all

very odd, and not for me at all

[squiffs]

If you read the description it says 'can be assembled in many permutations' or something to that effect - you can add more pods and extend the run and have it set up in many ways - it doesn't HAVE to be on top, etc.

[Reikiranf]

It looks like chicken in a basket for foxes if you ask me

[Ain't Nobody Here]

I think it looks cheap and nasty and there's been no thought for the welfare or needs of chickens . And the price .

[hammy72]

yes, reminds me of a cat box too, I think there is a ladder at the back but what would concern me is that the run size is the same size as the house size whereas with eglu their run is at least twice as big as their house and I know that alot of us extend it too!!

[Egluntyne]

The price is ridiculous. Perhaps the decimal point is in the wrong place. You could get 3 cat carriers and a simple run like that for around fifty quid, .... and they are deluding themselves if they think that a determined chicken couldn't escape from the 'stable door'.
