It is chaos today - just at the old house. The cattle trailer is loaded full of furniture, apliances, suitcases of clothes all sorts. Just had a mugshot - not ideal, but keeps us going. Off to new place in a bit, then back here tonight. tomorrow night is chookie run.

Absolutely loving itb all.

We have 12 acres for the zoo.

Hope it all goes well - I'm soooo jealous!

Although after tackling some spurge weed which seems to have attacked the whole village (I fear I'm fighting a losing battle) with 8 chickens getting in your face while doing so - just for the odd worm or woodlouse that I might uncover, 12 acres sounds daunting! Then again - piggies to do the job most definitely! Oh dear, I seem to be planning way ahead!

After today - I won't have phone & broadband until 7th September, so won't be on here for about a week. Not unless I pop to Wetherspoons or another Wifi spot.

We lose total track of time there - I am sure it will be easy to be outside until 11pm & think it's just 4pm there.

 

Had a very sad moment this morning - as little Button, one of our frizzles died. So sadly she didn't get to see her new home.

 

I am quite flustered & stressed today - just worried about the chickens..plus we are doing a night shift - so will probably be up until 2am again. I am shattered. I mean, I lost 4lb in weight last night! Not a good diet!

 

Just love it there - once there, we both go ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... it is soooo calm, peaceful & lovely.

I do that frequently in summer, no housework gets done at all
