craftyhunnypie
I only bother with a local newspaper to find out what events etc are going on. Don't ever bother with other papers. I find out a lot from this forum or just word of mouth. I also listen to Radio 2 & o I might occasionally I might catch the news on telly. Valkyrie
There's something called "news"? Kind of overdosed at one stage - couldn't get enough and now I'm totally fed up with it all and try not to look. Of course any doom and gloom is always passed on by my mother as she relishes the bad stuff and totally ignores the positive.
Mercedes55
I read the Daily Mail every day, apart from Sunday when I am still catching up on Saturdays paper I also listen to LBC radio a lot and at night I catch up on the Steve Allen show which airs far too early for me and he usually mentions a lot of things that have been in the news that day. Lavenders_Blue
I watch BBC Breakfast most days with a cup of tea and bowl of cornflakes, and sometimes I watch the 10 o'clock news too, although often just the headlines. I do enjoy a newspaper (tend to buy i as I can more or less read it from cover to cover), but rarely buy one as I don't really get time to read it on a normal day, so it tends to be a holiday or occasional weekend treat.
