Boy or girl??

Recommended Posts

Please say Tom is wrong and Billy my dotte is really a girl  ...his partner in crime George who hatched the same time has been crowing for 3 weeks now...they are both about 13 weeks old.

A few pictures of him and some of the rest of the flock (they are a bit blurred as he doesn't stay still for long )

Tom is so going to be told you so.

I was hoping because he hasn't started crowing he might be a girl and wouldn't have to go to the big flock in the sky.....hes such a character and so friendly and him and George are inseperable....there will be lots of tears, wine and chocolate on that day. :(.

I think boy too, sorry. I have a 20 week old bantam wyandotte girl and she has hardly any comb and is very pale pink. Love George, I have two belgian barbu d uccles, they are lovely birds. :)

Sorry to jump on a thread - you haven't any pictures of your 20 week old bantam have you? I have 2 x 13 week olds and am wondering how they are doing size wise as they are tiny!

here are cagney & lacey

But also - yes in my 10 chicks hatched back in May 4 were boys and only 1 crowed first and was the dominant male. The others didn't start crowing until I'd re-homed (or had despatched :( for 2) the previous crowing one... if that makes sense..... :?
