Can anyone who has one tell me if it works OK in a fan oven as I've seen some reviews where they say it gets blown about/lifted up so drips can go underneath it and get burnt to the bottom of your oven. Thank you

Just been searching and found this site here Cheaper than Lakeland including postage and their faq's say they are suitable. Think I'll order one from them.

Depending on the time of year, Lidl's have it for £1.99 & it really works. I haven't had a problem with it lifting at all.

I have one in a fan oven & its great. No problems at all.

We've got one from Aldi in our fan oven, no problems, just rember to take it out and clean it occasional

Thanks everyone I used to have a liner bought cheaply but then when I went to buy more of the same it said not to be used on the oven base

I use one too and it never moves at all - could not be wihout it.

They are fine in a fan oven.

The problems are caused if you have an oven which has a bottom element, such as a multi function ovenand you use a heating method which uses the bottom element

 

If you have a multifunction oven and you are using the Fan option, or the top=grill etc, then there are no problems.

If you are using the conventional oven setting, ehich uses the bottom element, then you just need to remove the liner.

 

The liners themselves work really well, and are easy to clean. I have them in all my ovens and under my grill.

I have one but mine does really flap about in the fan oven, so much so I have to put a plate on it. How comes other peoples are mine in their fan oven?

Liners here and in clean oven as I had a man in to do it. Worth every penny as well it was. Oven looks like it's never been used.

Just thought I'd update that the oven liner I got doesn't get blown around by the fan. Hope that helps anyone who is wondering about getting one.

I've got one - bought it about three years ago, but I've never used it because my oven has an element in the base, I am very grateful for Hazel's advice above because now I know I can use it as long as it's not on the conventional oven setting. Whether I'll remember that, of course, is another matter ... I might give it a try, though.
