Sageandonion
ES is pretty peeved this afternoon to find his xbox live account has been hacked and almost all his microsoft points have gone, having been used for Fifa 12 add ons - he believes. He is currently in a queue online to talk to someone. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else on here and how long it took before you had a happy resolution? Also if you have an xbox account may be worth checking your account to make sure it's ok.
scubababe
There are some really sad (for want of a word) people about. I hope that your ES gets a satisfactory result and that the person who's hacked has their machine explode!!!
Sageandonion
Thanks scubababe - he is not a happy bunny, especially as he doesn't even like football! He has looked online while waiting for support and it seems this isn't an isolated occurence .
Ain't Nobody Here
Sorry I can't help, I asked YS if he had ever had his account hacked but he hasn't. Hope your son gets it sorted soon .
Mum
From my son (experienced in playing Xbox, Fifa and active on EA forums): He may have had it hacked when playing on Fifa and subject to a scam if someone has bamboozled him by saying he can have their details to give stuff away but in actual fact, use your sons details to access their gamer tag and take their stuff. The best chance of gettting his Fifa points back is a) Contact EA through live chat support b) Go on EA Forums and try and get them back through the appropriate methods there (eg if he has a link to his squad, they may be able to find the hacker and compensate him) c) Contact Microsoft regarding anything other than Fifa (although Fifa is known for hackings) eg his Xbox account details. Can he still access Live? If he can, change all his details and not tell anyone!! If he can't try c) Resolution: quite rare because the onus is on your son to prove he's been hacked. Its the pits when that happens, so sorry your son experienced this.
Sageandonion
ES says thank you all for good wishes and help. He has spoken to the people at xbox, he has had his account frozen and they are looking into it for him. Fingers crossed he should get his points back. jasperaliceuk
Same thing happened to my daughter a month ago. They too froze her account and I believe it is now sorted. She was really angtsy about getting her points back! Funny though that she started a job with a Microsoft company two weeks ago! Sue
